Anyone into boating and/or fishing?
I have a vision of not being able to go to many areas because they are marine parks or protected. I know there is an inner and outer reef, does it have any baring on boating/fishing or where you can go?

we dont have many fishermen on this forum, but on another i moderate there are stacks. Most have boats and the sunny cost seems to be a popular launching/fishing spot.

My parents are now boaters! Well as of last Monday.

 

My Nephew runs the local Bayside Boat Licensing, and probably knows a bit about the area for that. http://www.baysideboatlicensing.com.au/

There are also plenty of fishing clubs about that may be worth joining.
