    For the past 3 years we have rented a beautiful apartment right on the river at Mariners Reach in Newstead.

    We are moving to the "burbs" in a months time and will be breaking the lease.

    Its a first floor apartment right on the river (with a boardwalk below us) Its a very roomy place with two large bedrooms, a massive balcony (I mean massive) overlooking the Brisbane river and another large one to the rear. 2 bathrooms, study area & laundry. We currently have 2 parking spaces and a large storage cage.

    Mariners Reach has 3 pools, gardens & a Gym and BBQ areas (though you won't need one with the size of this balcony).

    We are currently paying $620pw, but this will go up I suspect it'll rise by another $20-$40 in September.

    Newstead is just 3kms from the CBD with buses and trains on the doorstep. We are also within walking (staggering) distance of the famous Breakfast Creek Hotel, famous for its steak and real ale.
    We are also very close to fashionable New Farm & Tenerife and The Emporium where there are some wonderful restaurants. Not forgetting Racecourse Road & Portside just 5 mins away.
