Hi all were a family of five looking to move to Brisbane next April/May 2010.Im just waiting on job offers at the mo ( im a nurse). Were looking into the bayside area which looks like it will tick all the right boxes for us. My children are 13, 11 and 2. The Wynnum area looks nice?Does anyone have any opinions on this area? And Wynnum state schools? Any advice greatly received. Thanks all and hello by the way!lol:smile:

    Hi Nixster

Tha bayside area is fabulous! We live in Thornlands and love it here. Wynnum is great! It's an older suburb than the more southern Bayside suburbs, but that's not a problem! I am not sure about state schools in Wynnum but I am sure they will be good, but Moreton Bay College which has a boys and girls campus up that way are excellent.

If you have any more questions, shout away!

    Love

    Hi Nixter

Yep, there's a train from Wynnum into the city. I think they run about every 30 mins. It's not exactly the fastest train in the world, but it does the job! Wynnum and all the areas around here I am sure would be great for teenagers and toddlers alike. There's plenty going on!

If you quote your user name and Britsinbrisbane I will work out a bit of a discount on the accommodation if and when you are ready to book.

    Love
