In for a penny in for a pound!!!

If you thought UK banks were bad keep your money under the mattress.

HSBC the worlds friendly bank, we were First Direct in UK and could not have been easier, offset mortgage, phone and internet banking no branches so great.
Over here they were hopeless, not allowed a credit card even though I had two from the UK arm in my wallet. Trying for a loan was via Singapore and only a set way of doing it. Look in my account please were we have deposited our cash from the UK I heard me say a 100 times. No credit card, no loan and unable to contact their own branch in the UK.
Commonwealth was not much better they messed up Karens application, and again the credit card never came. So canned them ASAP.
Also dont forget they charge you for the pleasure lets hope they catch up soon bad service is a given. Also Internet banking seemed a little behind the times and you had limits on transfers and you need to go into the branch to then move money oh and most of them are shut on the week end.
Currently with ANZ lets hope they come up with the goods!!
