Hi my name is Kelly and I live in Scotland with my huband and 2 kids but we are finaly on our way to Brisbane in October after a long process. Gary is a joiner and I have just finished my training in Reflexology. Although I am excited I am also very nervous and scared of the unknown, arriving in an airport with 2 kids and no jobs or house is a scary thing to do but hey, nothing ventured nothing gained, but any advise will be greatfully recieved. Cheers Kelly.x

    Hi there and welcome:D:D:D
Tis a very scarey thing to do, but I'm sure it will all turn out fine. My friend and her hubby came out with 2 kids and no job at the time. But he got a job straight away:D So their doing well.

We came out myself and OH with very little money (peanuts) Lol. My hubby had to chnage trades as he was a cabinet fitter/carpenter and couldn't find work. So he does guttering now and doing really well out of it:D

You just have to be prepared to do anything and everything and you will be fine.
I bet your on a rollercoaster at the mo. Up and down scared excited worried happy. Smiling one day andd crying the next:D. Think we all go throught this, but it will be a great move for your ikkle ones too, so just enojoy yourelves:D

    Cheers

    Hi Kelly,

It is such an exciting and scarey time. I think most of us here have been where you are now. When I arrived, I didn't have a clue what I was going to do workwise. Now I am a trained, licensed and accredited mortgage broker!! Nothing like what I used to do. You can do almost anything here, provided you're open minded and prepared for a change in outlook.

Good luck with move. Fire away with any questions although if you trawl through previous posts, you'll probably find good information.

    Cheers
