I think with all the recent changes it is hard to pin point a time scale but if you have been signed a CO then things are definately on the move. Hopefully you should be requested to get your meds and police checks done soon then all your work is done, lol. From submitting our meds to getting an visa we had approx a 3 weeks wait but that was a few years ago now.
Lots of luck with everything and let us know how you get on

Hi Stef & Sandra we were assigned a case officer the back end of January this year and we got our visa mid March. It seems to be once they have got your medical details you are pretty much home and dry. When are you thinking of moving out?
Once our visa was issued we had basically 11 months then to enter the country and register. We are going out mid January. Currently serving in HM Forces and not due out till april 10. Good luck.

Hi Steff & Sandra, It will depend on how quickly you can get all the relivent information into your case officer, Get the police checks and medicals done ASAP. Once the Case officer submits your application it should not take to long, Mine went in and I had an email to tell me the application could take 3 months, It actually took 3 weeks, so get all your paperwork in quickly, once the visa is issued you have about 11 months to arrive in Australia before the visa would expire for entry.
