do our tvs etc work in oz help

 

some will, some wont ! some give picture and no sound , some nothing , a few folks seem to get them working by running them via a VHS player as this sometimes works.

what about other electrical appliances like food blenders, toasters, radios etc

yep most of your other electrical applinaces will work, just a case of chaging a few plugs.

What about computer games,eg,playstations.wii,x-box.? will they work in oz....

 

yes playstations etc will all work , we brought my sons PS2 when we came and it plays uk and Oz games no problem. It isnt chipped ,just a standard machine.

Most TV's work, plus if your going to get either digital (works like UK just with the usual rubbish Oz TV) or satellite/cable you won't have any problems at all.

Some DVDs are mulit -region, some aren't - so check yor player or just buy a new one out here.

We were told not to bring the fridge - but looking at those here there's no real difference - just the hassle of draining and refiling the coolant - so depends how new your fridge is.
