Hi, I'll be moving to gold coast this year and like some advice from locals on the better places to rent and the places to avoid. I'll be working at SouthPort, would prefer to be walking distance to beach.
I was considering Palm Beam - I would commute via M1 to South Port - but I don't know what the traffic situation is like on the gold coast. Any advice from locals will be appreciated. thanks in advance.

 

Moving to the Gold Coast

Hey Brissie Guy, Welcome to the Gold Coast! There are lots of great places to live on the Goldy: Down the middle to southern end you have Burleigh Heads, beautiful beaches, restaurants and shops, pretty quite but can also get busy if it's nice weather.

North from that you have Broadbeach, bustling nightlife ans social community, nice beaches and of course, the casino.

Then you have Surfers Paradise, probably give that a miss, unless your a tourist!

Even more north you have lots of ncie and quieter areas eg: Labrador, Helensvale, Pacific Pines and Coomera!
