Hi there, we moved from the UK nearly a year ago to Adelaide, it wasnt our first choice, we originally were going to Queensland, ideally the gold coast but due to the visa process had to come to SA. Weve just been for a week to the gold coast and stayed in surfers but drove around a few suburbs, everyone and everything looked more normal then where we are here!! I personally feel it is the place I want to be with our family, Adelaide seems so quite and boring, now is the long process of research and wheres best to live, the weather and checking out how that compares and jobs for hubbie who is an electrician.

Ha anyone on here had personal experience of Adelaide and then gone to the Gold Coast to live or Brisbane/sunshine coast and if so what were your findings and good and bad things about both?? Which is best Adelaide or Brisbane/gold coast??

Any opinions would greatly help.

We did have a few who moved interstate to the Gold Coast but I have not seen them on here to much recently, probably because they are so happy on the Gold Coast. Hopefully someone will see your message and respond, if not them try our main www.pomsinoz.com a bigger site and more rowdy than here :biglaugh:
