Hi All, Mine is a complicated story, so I won't bother you with the details (how unamerican of me). Let's just say after 10 years in Europe, and not wanting to move back to the US, but wanting some sunshine and heat in my life, I'm dreaming of Brisbane. I'm to old for a Skilled Workers Visa (so now you know I'm over 45), so I am on the trail for sponsorship. Actually I am looking in to the possibility starting my own biotech company. Any potential partners? Also, my wife has a degree as an early childhood teacher from Sweden and they didn't recognize it here in Scotland, so we are hoping she would have better luck in Brisbane. Finally, we saw that there is a thriving Russian comunity in Brisbane, they even have their own school and community centre, and my wife is Russian, so that is a major bonus. Very few Russians were we live now. So, please say hello to me, I'd love to hear from you. Cheers, Mike
Hi Mike Welcome to BIB,, its certainly getting harder now a days to qualify for a visa so heres wishing you lots of luck with the process. Cal x
Hi Mike I've been working in the biotech field for over 13 yrs now, and currently looking into relocating to Oz. Luckily I'm still young enough to apply for the Skilled Workers Visa, but would be interested to hear more about your plans to start up a company. If you're interested, perhaps we could discuss further off-line?? Cheers Niall
