G'day all, some of you here who are on PiO as well will know me from over there as LukeM

So here I am... as just plain ol' Luke here.

Thought I'd share some of my pics "from the vault" so to speak here! They're mostly from the Gold Coast area, though some are Tamborine Mountain. Some are also Sunshine Coast (Beerwah)

Great pics Luke. It's funny - we get wallabies up at our fence all the time......but I still whip out the camera to snap photos of them!!!!

Ah cheers guys... I may come back and add more later on today.

For any techy geek types out there, the ones I add later will actually be from a 2 megapixel phone camera! I took my phone out on Surfers... Amazing what a crummy camera can achieve in the sun!

They look better than i get from my normal camera.

 

The first lot were taken with an off-the-shelf Canon digital camera which is 8 megapixel.

These lot as I say were then on my Nokia 6300's 2 megapixel camera.

If I tried to take photos like that in England of a beach they wouldn't come out, the sunlight's obviously good for 2mp cameras in Queensland!! Haha :tongue:

we visited the Gold Coast 2 years ago and looking at those pictures reminded me why we are doing this and jumping through all the hoops to get our visa. When I feel blue I will be heading straight for your post to look at those amazing photos. Hubby has just walked in and now has big grin on his face.
