first of all a very big HELLO to every1 out there. this is my very first post on this site :)
im currently looking at moving from mackay to brisbane in july 2012 with my g/f. were a young couple with no kids and wanting to kno a great suburb to live?? it doesnt have to b right in the cbd but not to far out as well :) also im a qualified cabinetmaker and she is a qualified hairdresser, so would it be easy for the both of us to find jobs or is there not much going on at this time???

I cannot answer your questions about work and I presume you have looked on Seek.com to see what is around... I know the ladies are always complaining they need a decent hairdresser so perhaps you partner will become very popular. I use to live North of Brisbane on Bribie island and my wife found it difficult to get a hairdresser she liked, She tried to get a Mobile hairdresser to visit, but she was to busy to take on extra clients, So perhaps your GF could possibly look into becoming a mobile hairdresser, i am sure there would be plenty of work out there.
